Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years in casino Hard or Soft Count Operations
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Must possess the ability to lead, direct, counsel and coach subordinates
  • Ability to communicate with all levels
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
  • Must have math skills
  • Ability to execute instructions in a professional, timely and concise manner
  • Ability to train, evaluate and coach employees
  • Prepare and issue annual performance appraisals

License Requirements:

Must be able to be licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervise Drop Team staff and participate when necessary in the Soft Count drop process ensuring the integrity of the drop and compliance with regulatory Policies and Procedures
  • Obtain and maintain control of appropriate keys
  • Generate reports as required by Management
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with co-departments in order to deal with problems as they may arise
  • Ensure that the inventory of supplies is adequate and that all machinery is in good working order
  • Be available to work any hours and days as needed including holiday's and weekends.
  • Ability to participate and encourage a team environment
  • Responsible for maintaining confidentiality, safety, and security standards
  • Ability to train staff
  • Ability to create and implement Policy and Procedure as required and adhere to all regulatory mandates

Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Constant knowledge of all related Policies and Procedures
  • Constant fast and accurate money handling capabilities
  • Constant twisting, turning, bending, standing for long periods, manual dexterity and good vision
  • Ability to work primarily grave shift along with other shifts as is necessary

Working Conditions:

  • Work requires the essentials of speed and accuracy
  • Exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise
