Hours are Tuesday through Thursday 3pm-830pm

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform general office functions, such as, greeting patients, filing, answering telephones, paperwork, typing

* Record patient admissions, discharges and transfer in compliance with DSA and CODAC guidelines; and establish and maintain computerized patient record and schedule patient appointments

* Verify patient insurance coverage as needed

* Responsible for verification and eligibility of insurance coverage

* Responsible for collection of patient fees

* Assume duties of the Office Manager in her/his absence

* Obtain and maintain proficiency in Motivational Interviewing

* Participate in Performance Improvement activities

* Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma and at least two years of related work experiences.
