Seasonal Position (Summer Full Time)

Community Care Alliance is looking for a Seasonal Maintenance Worker to perform a routine range of maintaining outside and inside properties, and cleaning of all sites, in Residential, & Transitional Housing, Offices or Outside the Facility, while maintaining confidentiality of all staff & visitors. Assist with maintenance duties as assigned per supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean, maintain, all outside and inside properties of Agency buildings.
• Some lawn mowing, weed trimming, trim bushes, etc.
• Safely dispose of Hazard materials, or hazard waste in proper containers, handles chemicals and solutions per departmental policy.
  
• Collect and dispose of all types of trash appropriately.
• Notify supervisor of any major repair issues, or concerns regarding the building.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Able to work with power tools safely.

Skills:

• Knowledge of safety (PPE) in handling all outside lawn equipment, along with power tools.
• Able to work in different environments, weather & building conditions; this includes:

• Able to lift at least 25 pounds or more.
• Able to with stand odors, and waste of any kind.
• Able to stand or bend for long periods at a time.
• Able to climb up and down stairs, ladders and stand on roofs.
• Able to manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work independently or with a team, with little or no supervision.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to follow all policies & procedures of the Agency.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle and clean driving record.
• Must be able to maintain client confidentiality.
• Comply with Screening/Background Check.
