Role Description and Responsibilities

As an intern within the Industry Portfolio Management Team, you will assist in defining industry focused strategy and product planning for all SIMULIA products. You will help the Team with the definition of products and processes that simulate the world in which we live. We are the Dassault Systemes brand that provides simulation for product, nature, and life.

This is a paid sixth month internship from May to December 2024. You will be working a hybrid home/office schedule in the Dassault Systemes SIMULIA office located in Johnston, RI.

Assisting the team with operations, including: project management, databases, dashboards, packaging, market research, and sales enablement

Assisting the team in defining long-term industry focused strategy and using that to drive product planning and go-to-market content, for example:

* Assisting Industry Strategy leaders with defining the industry-oriented product portfolio, business plans, researching new markets, building competitive Intelligence and industry analysis

* Working with the larger global Product Management organization to define product plans that aligns with industry strategy and ensuring that the plans are reflected in our information management systems

* Assisting in building go-to-market material both industry and product focused

Qualifications

Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering Management, Product Management or similar program

Possesses some industry experience in engineering or consulting

Demonstrates s strong career interest in product management or project management

Demonstrates keen interest in product strategy, planning, and go-to-market

Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, databases, project management, tools
