Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial/Consumer Loan Operations Specialist that will provide significant support to the Operations management team and department. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily workflow related to daily maintenance and account information requests, loan booking and funding, reporting, assisting with department related projects, complex problem resolution, process improvements, and monitoring of department related tasks and workflows. Position Responsibilities:

Provide first line back-up to the daily work of the assigned business units' loan booking, funding, and servicing, including but not limited to, ABL Advances, ABL Monthly Billing, Participations, Swap loans, and Floor Plan. Monitor pipeline/queues to provide back-up wherever the volume is needed. Ensure all loan documentation submitted is appropriate and accurate as required by the Bank's credit policy, state and federal regulations and general lending documentation standards. Work directly with the all lending units to ensure compliance.

  • Accurately interpret loan documents and properly reflect all terms and conditions in the Bank's core system.
  • Assist the team members with being cross-trained to provide coverage during vacations and team member sick days/leaves of absences.
  • Along with the guidance of the team leads and manager, assist team member to ensure that they are performing assigned responsibilities according to approved departmental procedures. Update procedures as required.
  • Establish a strong relationship with the various lending units along with other key stakeholders to ensure efficiency, compliance, and an excellent customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and Bank policy.

Additional knowledge required:

  • Strong familiarity with all loan documents pertaining to Commercial Loans
  • Ability to lead a team to achieve goals, meet deadlines, and create a positive working environment

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years' experience in banking operations area(s)
  • Knowledge and understanding of state and federal regulations
  • Strong computer skills, with working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of FIS Horizon core banking system desired
  • Strong financial and business acumen and ability to communicate clearly across all levels of management
  • Solid decision-making, critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Proven leadership qualities with an ability to develop and execute strategy
  • Solid performance management experience
  • Excellent organizational skills; deadline oriented
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with a focus on providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment while meeting critical deadlines.
