JOB OVERVIEW

The Senior Advanced Information Security Engineer will help protect and drive the company's mission. Information drives our business, and we must protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and processes across the enterprise while safeguarding against damage to our reputation and brand. The candidate is primarily responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, automate and maintaining security infrastructure and application components.

The Senior Security Engineer will focus on core security technologies are operating up to industry best practices and internal policies and standards.The candidate will also partner with various application development and customer groups across the organization to ensure the technologies and systems deployed are designed and maintained in a secure way that minimize risks.

The Senior Advanced Security Engineer will report to the Vice President, Information Security with the following main responsibilities:

• Engineer, build, and maintain security technology solutions to protect the company systems, networks, and data.
• Identify security design and operational process gaps in existing and proposed technology architecture and recommend improvements.
• Engineer and execute recommended improvements to raise the security posture and capability of the enterprise.
• Create and engineer security solutions that balance business needs with information and cyber security requirements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating process documentation to enable knowledge transfer, cross-training, and disaster recovery needs.
• Work with business stakeholders and corporate departments to identify threats and problem areas, and use feedback to further strengthen tools, technologies, and processes.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for security technology solutions, and maintain standard operating process documentation.
• Create solutions that are scalable, repeatable, maintainable, and secure.Executes security test plans and advises management on new developments and advanced techniques.
• Communicate the status of projects and systems to the Information Security team, management, and partner organizations.
• Responds to security incidents and track to closure (computer security breaches and viruses) in a timely manner.
