Overview

TRC is currently seeking multiple Offshore Construction Client Representatives to become part of our Construction QA teams working on our Offshore Wind construction projects of the coast of Rhode Island and New York. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess demonstrated hands on experience and technical expertise in offshore wind, oil, gas or infrastructure construction projects. The construction scope includes offshore wind jacket, foundation, cable, tower installations and assembly and installation of nacelle equipment.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate daily construction activity records throughout the construction operations
  • Monitor and enforce contractor compliance with approved procedures, technical specifications and project drawings.
  • Monitors schedules and activities of contractor(s) in coordination with the Superintendents and Company Staff.
  • Proactively oversee safety and quality of all work performed by the contractor and its subcontractors.
  • Prepare and distribute Daily Work Reports (DWRs).
  • Review and comprehend Risk Assessments/Method Statements and QHSE documents before execution phase begins.
  • Attend daily pre-activity meetings, toolbox talks, and other discussions to oversee safe and quality work execution.
  • Access all work areas and continuously monitor key construction activities for safety and quality.
  • Participate in safety walks with client and contractor representatives.
  • Perform field inspections and compile and distribute related documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in marine onshore or offshore construction, preferably with foundations and cables.
  • Managing Safely or similar HSE training recommended.
  • Experience with offshore heavy lifts and transporting heavy loads preferred.
  • Experience with quality inspections and documentation preferred.
  • Experience in Foundation Installation as a Client Rep preferred.
  • Offshore Construction Basic Safety Training
  • Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire and other marine awareness qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Strong communication skills with positive attitude.

Rotation:

Expected rotation of 2 weeks on followed by 2 weeks off. Subject to change based on vessel and construction schedule and duration
