Responsibilities
1st Shift - 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 6:00 AM to Noon Friday
Starting Pay $18.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Prep, Lasting, Inspection, Finishing (Non-Sewing Operations)
- Material Preparation.
- Working with programmable machinery.
- Perfoming manual jobs
- Performing various shoe lasting operations to produce footwear, including inserting leather uppers in to clamping devices attached to machine.
- Will be responsible for reading production tags and the quality if their work.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Must be able to reach 12-18 inches.
- Non-Sewing Operations must be able to stand/walk for a full shift.
- Strong organization skills and high attention to detail.
- Good Manual dexterity skills.
- Positive and flexible attitude and ability to work and be a team player.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in Quality Control and Inspection desirable.
- Previous experience in shoe/boot manufacturing desirable.
- Stitching experience is preferred for the stitching role.
