Responsibilities:

As a Compensation and HRIS Analyst, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Compensation Department by participating in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.

Compensation Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinates the job matching process.
  • Assists in the administration of the performance appraisal & salary administration processes. Monitors these programs to ensure policies and budgets are followed.
  • Updates salary structures, Area Wage Differentials, assigns and maintains job codes, audits the comp related data on the HRIS. Coordinates with HRIS to ensure updates are entered correctly.
  • Assists in maintaining the Employee Gateway. Reviews Gateway content to ensure compensation related sections are up to date. Creates and uploads content as required.

HRIS Responsibilities include:

  • Assists in maintaining internal database files and tables. Ensures accuracy and integrity of HR data in ADP by developing reports to audit data. Maintains all HR related tables including the position organizational hierarchy.
  • Develops custom and ad-hoc reports using MS Access to address ongoing customer needs, including HR metrics, analytics, and headcount reporting; ensures that reports are accurate and complete. Continually monitors HR/client information needs and designs new reports as needed to support changing business conditions.
  • Maintains a library of standard reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Ensures designated HR reps are able to access the HRIS report library and generate queries. Collaborates with the HR team to leverage systems, ideas and tools enabling them to perform at a more strategic level. Assists HR in utilizing desktop self-service reporting capabilities.
  • Meets with clients both in the HR department and other areas of ONA to determine their information needs. Designs, generates, audits and distributes a variety of advanced reports and statistical analyses.



Qualifications:

Qualifications include, but not limited:

  • BA, or equivalent plus 2 to 4 years experience in an analytical capacity, preferably as a compensation or HRIS analyst. (Computer Science Degree is a plus!)
  • Advanced PC skills with proficiency in MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint is essential and required.
  • Must have proficient knowledge of Access with demonstrated current ability to create and run reports (Must know SQL).
  • Knowledge of VBA is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases.
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll is a plus.
